So, 5 employees would not only reduce air pollution but save over 1,300 gallons of gas per year. This doesn't even include the affect of energy wasted by an office that must be maintained, even when employees are not present. Even if an office is open for 10 to 12 hours, 6 days a week, there would be over 96 hours per week during which the air conditioner/heater must operate (assuming that all computers, printers, copiers/fax machines, and other office equipment are turned off when not in use).
